The SEMA Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) has announced Chris Holstrom of Chris Holstrom Concepts, Kevin Oeste of V8 Speed and Resto Shop, and Don Young of Auto Custom Carpets as the Council's newest Select Committee members. Holstrom, Oeste and Young will serve a two-year volunteer term.

Chris Holstrom
Holstrom is the president and visionary of Chris Holstrom Concepts, an 11-employee hot rod restoration and repair facility 30 miles south of Seattle, Washington; Holstrom oversees the company's growth, branding, and key relation development as well as designing and implementing streamlined procedures to enhance the client experience. Holstrom's main desire is to help develop and educate small business leaders, whether they specialize in manufacturing or vehicle repair and modifications. He also wants to help them run with systems in place that reduce stress, increase profits, and stimulate growth to negotiate any economic uncertainty.

Kevin Oeste
Oeste is owner of V8 Speed and Resto Shop with his wife Kelle, building and restoring hot rods, muscle cars, and customs for customers all over the world. He is also owner of V8TV Productions, Inc., which produces automotive television and video (V8TV and Muscle Car Of The Week), podcasts (V8 Radio; Bonneville Up To Speed; and Hammer Down, the HRIA Podcast) and serves as emcee at numerous automotive events like the SEMA Show, the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals, the Triple Crown of Rodding, and more.

Don Young
Young is the vice president of sales at Auto Custom Carpets. In his role, he manages customer relationships with existing vendors, solicits new vendors, and monitors sales volume with vendors for performance improvement opportunities. Having worked in or around the automotive industry since his first job selling Honda cars in 1988, his insurance experience has kept him in the front line of collision repair and emerging vehicle technologies, and his litigation experience has allowed him to quickly understand regulatory issues and effectively communicate with involved parties. Decades of volunteer experience has given him a unique insight into motivation, impact, and leadership in the automotive environment.

In addition to the newly elected Select Committee members, HRIA welcomes back immediate past chair Danny Agosta, Steele Rubber Products; chair Tim McCarthy, Hushmat & ZyCoat; chair-elect Jeff Grantmeyer, Borgeson Universal; Mark Bowler, Bowler Transmissions; Lana Chrisman, Lions Automobilia Foundation; Amy Fitzgerald, Cool Hand Customs; Joe Kubiak, Wilwood Disc Brakes; David Page, Edelbrock Group; Scott Parker, Power Automedia; and Shelby Robinson, Kustom Built Cars Educational Workshop/ACME Chop Shop.
